GICS members have two new articles that we are proud to highlight.
The first is about GICS Chair-Elect Tahmina Banu, “Inspirational Women in Surgery: Professor Tahmina Banu, Bangladesh” authored by Tanvir K. Chowdhury and GICS Board Chair, Doruk Ozgediz.
GICS Past Chair Kokila Lakhoo is also featured the Inspirational Woman in Surgery series. Her article “Inspirational Women in Surgery: Professor Kokila Lakhoo, South Africa” was authored by Ruth Laverde and Doruk Ozgediz.
